Tamara Tozzi, LCMHCA

In my personal and professional life, I feel a natural inclination to connect with and help others. I've had many meaningful experiences of need and brokenness in my own life, in which I have been genuinely touched by others that have come alongside me as agents of healing and strength. This sparked my desire to come alongside others and to help them develop a healthy view of themselves and positive attitudes that promote striving toward one's goals and cultivating healthy relationships.

I desire to establish a positive relationship with clients, encouraging, validating, and building on their strengths to help them achieve their desired outcome. As a therapist, I am experienced and passionate about working with individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, interpersonal and internal conflict, faith and spiritual matters, grief, and cultural issues.

I received an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Christian College in 2020 and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Lee University in 2012. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate in the state of North Carolina. My unique upbringing and understanding of both majority and minority cultures alI draw from different theoretical perspectives and use different integrative approaches such as CBT, Family Systems, and Solution Focused Therapy that takes the uniqueness of each client I see into consideration.
