Amanda Williamson, LCSW
Therapy should be a place where you feel validated, safe, and supported. I would love to walk along beside you on your journey and provide you with a non-judgmental, listening ear. I seek to support clients as they face unforeseen challenges and navigate life's transitions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina. I earned my Master's in Social Work from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I enjoy working with individuals and couples and I am able to offer Christian counseling per request. My experience includes supporting clients through anxiety, depression, communication challenges, relationships issues, parenting, and stress management. I am also trained in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) for clients navigating tics or Tourette's Syndrome. We work to manage and reduce tic severity.
My overall goal in therapy is to provide a compassionate, collaborative space where you can feel supported, understood, and empowered in your growth. I want to work with you to gain new skills, develop effective strategies, and cultivate healthy relationships, so you will become more confident and resilient.
