Ryan Fuller, MFT-I

I believe that everyone has the ability to improve and grow and sometimes we just need a hand. My job is to help you see, celebrate, and utilize the strengths you already have to grow and/or find healing. If you’re ready to take a step in that direction, then I’d love to work with you.

I’m especially passionate about helping young adults and adolescents develop healthy life patterns during their formative years. I provide comprehensive and clinically-informed counseling for anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, relational/marital conflict, chronic pain, identity development, and major life transitions. My approaches may include Narrative, Systemic, Emotion Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My specific approach is to create a safe environment to help you explore how the combination of physical, mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual factors may be related to your specific challenges.

I previously worked with an English nonprofit in Basque Country, Spain, teaching English and providing life coaching for young adults in English and Spanish. I am fluent in Spanish and can provide counseling in Spanish. I attended UNC-Chapel Hill where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish 2018. I am in the final semester of a Master of Cross-Cultural Counseling degree and will complete a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in December.

Plants/growing my own food is my newest hobby, but I also enjoy reading, scuba, piano, and rock climbing. I am looking forward to learning more about you!
