Tim Dodson, LCMHCA
Life is full of different seasons that bring with them unique sets of joys to experience and challenges to overcome. Some challenges prove easier to navigate than others, and sometimes we find ourselves in need of a little extra support; I know that has been true for me at times. Whatever challenges you are navigating in this season, I would love to meet you, hear your story, and partner with you to achieve lasting change.
I enjoy working with clients across the lifespan. When supporting children and teens, my goal is to help them realize their own personal strengths and to become their very own problem-solvers. When partnering with adults, my goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and valued as we journey together to develop personally meaningful goals that inspire hope for you.
My previous experience as a school counselor makes me especially well-suited to help individuals navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and self-esteem. My counseling approach is best described as compassionate, strengths-based, and solution-focused. While I mostly utilize cognitive counseling theories, I am also happy to integrate faith into our counseling sessions if that is important to you. I look forward to hearing from you!
