Ryan Fuller, MA, LMFTA
What you’ve experienced is real, and it matters. Suffering doesn’t have to be compared or minimized—if you’ve felt it, it’s worth talking about. My role is to help you recognize and build on the strengths you already have so you can move toward growth and healing.
My approach is compassionate and direct—I’ll tell you how it is while creating a safe space to explore how physical, mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual factors may be connected to your challenges. Depending on your needs, I may draw from Narrative Therapy, Systemic approaches, EFT, DBT, or CBT.
I’m passionate about helping kids, adolescents, and young adults develop healthy life patterns during their formative years. I provide counseling for anxiety, depression, anger, relational and marital conflict, chronic pain, identity development, ADHD coaching, and major life transitions. I also have experience in multicultural counseling, supporting expats, faith-based counseling, and working with pastors and clergy. I enjoy working with therapy first-timers, helping to make the process feel safe, approachable, and productive.
Before counseling, I worked in Basque Country, Spain, teaching English and providing life coaching for young adults in Spanish. I earned my B.S. in Psychology from UNC–Chapel Hill in 2018, a Master’s in Cross-Cultural Counseling in 2024, and a Master’s in Marriage, Family, and Individual Therapy in 2025.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy caring for plants, reading, scuba diving, music, and climbing.
