Micah Conner, MFT-I

Hi friend! Life doesn’t always go the way we planned, does it? Life often unfolds in unexpected ways, and sometimes we find ourselves carrying more weight than we thought possible, whether it’s anxiety, depression, difficult transitions, or just the quiet heaviness of day-to-day life. In those moments, it’s easy to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or alone. But healing is possible, and you don’t have to face it by yourself.

I am currently working toward licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through my studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Judson College. This journey allows me to walk alongside individuals and families, offering support grounded in empathy, respect, and understanding. My aim is to provide a compassionate, steady presence as you explore your challenges and uncover your strengths.

My approach to therapy centers on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and valued. I use client-centered and trauma-informed methods that are flexible and tailored specifically to your needs and goals. Together, we will explore your story, identify patterns and obstacles, and build practical, meaningful strategies that foster resilience, growth, and well-being.

I am focused on clinically informed therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, and the complexities of cross-cultural adjustment. Growing up in Mexico after being born in the U.S. has deeply influenced how I see the world and relate to others. That cross-cultural experience has nurtured my commitment to honoring each person's unique identity and helping bridge the gap between cultures with sensitivity and care.

If I have the opportunity to work with couples, I will draw from my certification in Prepare/Enrich, a research-based tool that fosters meaningful growth by strengthening communication and deepening connection, whether you’re preparing for marriage or navigating challenges together.

What inspires me most about this work is witnessing the strength and healing that can emerge when someone is truly listened to. Therapy, to me, is a space where you can rediscover hope, build clarity, and embrace the possibility of renewal.

Wherever you find yourself on your journey, whether you’re just beginning to explore therapy or have been seeking support for some time, I would be truly honored to walk alongside you. Taking that first step can feel challenging, but you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we can create a path forward filled with understanding, growth, and renewed hope.
