Mary Paige Shrader, LCMHCA
When life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or heavy, it can be hard to know where to begin. Whether you’re seeking support for your child, navigating a life transition, or pursuing personal growth, I strive to provide a safe place where you feel heard, supported, and encouraged as you move toward healing and growth.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, I work with neurotypical and neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, autism, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. I enjoy helping clients better understand their strengths, navigate challenges, and develop skills that allow them to thrive in their daily lives and relationships. My approach is holistic and integrative. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and strengths-based approaches to support clients in developing a deeper understanding of themselves, navigating challenges, and fostering emotional growth.
My previous experience as a school counselor deepened my understanding of how children’s emotional, academic, and social lives are closely interconnected. I value collaborating with families and understanding the whole child within the context of their environment.
I believe therapy should meet you where you are—developmentally, emotionally, and personally. With children, I use play to support emotional and behavioral growth. With adolescents and adults, I collaborate with clients to identify patterns, build insight, and explore approaches that support meaningful and lasting change. Upon request, I am happy to integrate faith into counseling.
Together, we will walk through life’s challenges with curiosity, compassion, and care. My hope is to offer a supportive space where you feel seen, understood, and not alone in the process. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you or your child in this process.
