Jenny Harris, LCSW
Do you struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, anxiety, or feeling stuck in patterns that leave you overwhelmed or unsure of yourself? I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges who want to feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally balanced.
Many of my clients are capable, thoughtful individuals who feel weighed down by self-doubt, perfectionism, and a strong inner critic. Together, we work to slow anxious thinking, strengthen boundaries, and create healthier, more secure relationships.
My approach is practical, insight-oriented, and trauma-informed, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and holistic strategies tailored to your needs. I also offer supportive resources between sessions, including podcasts, books, articles, and video clips to help reinforce growth and support continued progress outside of therapy.
In the therapy room, clients often describe me as authentic, warm, and easy to talk to. I see it as a privilege to be entrusted with someone’s story, and I don’t take lightly the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they navigate healing, growth, and meaningful change.
I have a special interest in working with healthcare professionals, first responders, and helping professionals, as well as individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Christian counseling is also available upon request for clients who wish to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process.
I hold a Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University and a certificate in Global Mental Health: Trauma and Recovery from Harvard Medical School. With over 18 years of experience in crisis care, community mental health, and private practice, I also provide clinical supervision and enjoy mentoring emerging clinicians.
My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel both understood and gently challenged, helping you move toward greater clarity, confidence, and peace.
